Wilson and the Praise Pals are the "puppet kids" that gather in the backyard each week and learn God's lessons with the neighborhood "human kids" who come to children's church! All kids interact with Wilson and the Praise Pals, singing with them, talking with them and helping each other grow in God's love together with the wholesome happenings in the backyard! There is even a tree house!
Backyard Adventures is not a "puppet show" for kids to watch; it is a place where the kids become part of what happens each week in the backyard with Wilson and the Praise Pals! There is no other children's church puppet ministry of its kind! It's like going back in time to the days of "Spanky and Our Gang" and the life-long friendships and experiences that kids had decades ago!
All episodes are exclusive and originated through prayer and the help of God. Susan Romanov always tells everyone that God is the creator and author of each episode . . . Susan only follows His direction.
We are not a church and we do not want to take kids or families away from their home church. Because Backyard Adventures in Christ with Wilson and the Praise Pals has stood the test of time [from churches using the ministry, to taking it to multiple YWCA kids programs each week, to being featured on stage at the Historic Tennessee Theater as part of a statewide graduation for homeschoolers] and the purpose has not changed. Kids need to study God's Word, know that Jesus loved them so much that He died for their sins and will save them, and gain the wisdom to survive in the backyard of life. Best of all, it is fun!
All episodes are based on the KJV Bible without compromise and are not specific to any particular religion or denomination. A parent or guardian must accompany their children and if the truth be told, they seem to enjoy the experience each time they attend right along with their kids!
