Children's Church Puppet Ministry

I started writing children's object lesson books for church services in the early 90's and when the first LOVE89 Family Christian Conference took place in Knoxville, TN in 1993 for area families, Wilson and the Praise Pals came to life on the conference stage for kids. Since 2001, Backyard Adventures in Christ Children's Church is the ultimate live interactive hour-long worship and spiritual growth experience for kids with puppets, singing and life-related lessons." -Susan Romanov

The kids pictured here are some of the actual kids who participated in helping make Backyard Adventures in Christ with Wilson and the Praise Pals extra-special in the early days. Carlos [holding blue card] was 10 years old and ran sound behind the scenes and managed the puppeteer scripts. Today they are grown with their own families and still call "Ms. Susan" to keep in touch periodically. What a blessing!
